On May 30th, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan worked with the Da Nang City People's Committee on the relocation of high-voltage power lines at the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project.
Reporting at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Tru, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, said that the Management Board of Infrastructure Development Projects for Da Nang Industrial and High-Tech Zones (Industrial and High-Tech Zone Management Board) had submitted the design for the construction implementation after the basic design to the Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy - Ministry of Industry and Trade for appraisal.
A section of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project.
The Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy under the Ministry of Industry and Trade has appraised the design drawings and cost estimates for the project to relocate high-voltage power lines to facilitate the clearance of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan section of the expressway at two intersection points between the 220kV Da Nang - Hoa Khanh power line at kilometer markers Km 72+360 and Km 73+722.34.
According to Mr. Tru, the Department of Technology and High-Tech Engineering has now coordinated with the consulting unit to prepare the documents and has obtained opinions and agreements on the planning of the locations for the 220kV tower foundations to be relocated.
In addition, the Department of Industry and High-Tech has sent a letter to the People's Committee of Hoa Vang District requesting the addition of land area to be acquired for the list of projects requiring land acquisition in 2024 for the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan section of the expressway construction project.
For medium and low voltage power grids, a total of 18 locations need to be relocated due to the impact of the expressway. Of these, the Industrial and High-Tech Management Board is handling 10 locations using funds from the project's land clearance budget, and 8 locations using funds from Da Nang Power Company Limited.
"Currently, the relevant units have completed the approval of the relocation design documents, selected contractors, and are implementing the project according to the construction schedule," Mr. Tru said.
According to Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, the Ministry of Transport assigned Da Nang two tasks related to the project: land clearance and relocation of technical facilities for the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project.
By May 30th, land clearance work on the main route was almost complete to facilitate construction.
The Da Nang City People's Committee also requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to direct the Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy to promptly stamp the appraisal of the design documents for the power grid relocation component of the project, as a basis for implementing the next steps.
Regarding the connection of power infrastructure, the Da Nang City People's Committee requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to provide feedback to the Ministry of Transport on four locations where 500kV and 220kV power lines intersect.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan stated that the ministry would soon send a document to the Ministry of Transport to implement the necessary steps regarding land acquisition for the expressway project.
Deputy Minister Tan also requested the Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy to provide support and expedite the approval process for the design documents related to the relocation of the 220kV high-voltage power grid within the project.
At the same time, we request that Vietnam Electricity Corporation and related units focus their human and material resources to implement these issues quickly and efficiently.
Specifically, it is necessary to arrange backup power sources, minimize power outage time, and absolutely ensure safety during construction.
In its final phase, the project will have 6 lanes and a roadbed width of 29m. In the phased development, the project will be completed with 4 lanes.
The total number of land parcels requiring clearance for the main expressway is 1,166. This includes clearing 20km of service roads on both sides of the expressway, involving 710 land parcels, along with 85 land parcels for the buffer zone. Additionally, there are over 2,908 graves along the expressway that need to be relocated.
