According to the district's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, localities with large areas of rice transplanted by machines include Dai Hop (36 hectares), Quang Trung (30 hectares), Tan Ky (20 hectares)... Tu Ky district also encourages communes to combine the model of rice seedlings transplanted by machines with production linkages and consumption of ST25 rice varieties and Japanese glutinous rice in An Thanh and Quang Trung communes.
In the district, there are currently 34 rice transplanters of various types purchased by Cooperatives and households to serve the agricultural production needs of people in the district, the most in Chi Minh commune with 3 rice transplanters.
In the 2023 crop, the economic efficiency of machine planting in Tu Ky district is 3.6-5.1 million VND/ha higher than manual planting with yard seedlings. Up to now, the district has basically completed sowing and planting the entire area.
