In 2023, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies promptly developed programs and plans and focused on implementing key tasks of the National Assembly and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, in line with the local situation. As a result, this significantly contributed to the socio -economic development of the province and positively contributed to the overall achievements of the National Assembly.
Operational innovation
According to Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Huu Thong, over the past year, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has proactively reformed the form and content of its activities and promoted the application of information technology to support professional activities, achieving many positive results. The leadership of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation promptly implemented the directives of the National Assembly Standing Committee; the provincial National Assembly deputies demonstrated a high sense of responsibility to the voters and people of the province. In addition, the National Assembly deputies actively participated in the legislative process, contributing opinions to draft laws at National Assembly sessions and legislative review meetings of National Assembly committees; contributing opinions to the National Assembly when deciding on important national issues; and exercising the National Assembly's supreme oversight. The delegation also paid attention to and promptly addressed citizens' complaints and denunciations, urging relevant agencies to resolve issues for citizens in accordance with regulations.
Along with that, the work of engaging with constituents has been reformed in form and improved in quality, and the coordination with various sectors and levels has become closer and more frequent. At these meetings, National Assembly deputies actively explained and disseminated the Party and State's guidelines and policies, as well as the achievements in the fight against corruption and negative practices from the central to local levels, which received the approval and support of the constituents. Furthermore, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation paid close attention to information and communication work to promptly convey the delegation's activities to the constituents and the people. Through the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, voters have expressed their agreement and high appreciation for the achievements of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. Voters believe that in the past, at National Assembly sessions, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation actively carried out many vibrant activities, contributed many practical opinions to the National Assembly, and conveyed the aspirations and wishes of voters to the National Assembly, the Government , and central ministries and agencies. Regarding activities between sessions, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has carried out many tasks such as: supervision, voter outreach, and handling of petitions, achieving many practical results.
Emphasis on the application of information technology.
Entering 2024, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies will continue to innovate and effectively fulfill its assigned functions and tasks. Specifically, regarding legislative work, the delegation will organize consultations with relevant agencies and organizations to gather feedback on draft laws submitted to the National Assembly in accordance with Resolution No. 89/2023/QH15 dated June 2, 2023, of the National Assembly on the legislative and ordinance drafting program for 2024, and adjust the legislative and ordinance drafting program for 2023 when directed and guided by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly. Regarding oversight activities, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies will implement oversight activities in accordance with Resolution No. 90 of the National Assembly on the National Assembly's oversight program for 2023 and Resolution No. 833 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the Standing Committee's oversight program for 2024.
Simultaneously, the delegation will continue to research and innovate methods and approaches for engaging with voters, with particular emphasis on applying information technology to enhance the effectiveness of these interactions. At the same time, it will coordinate with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and local authorities in the province to organize voter outreach meetings before and after National Assembly sessions in communes, wards, and towns. Furthermore, it will fully compile and promptly report legitimate and reasonable opinions and recommendations from voters to the National Assembly, the Government, central ministries and agencies, People's Committees at all levels, and relevant local authorities for consideration and resolution within their jurisdiction.
