In 2025, Dong Hung district has 373 young people performing military service and 46 young people performing service in the People's Public Security, completing 100% of the targets assigned by superiors. The number of new recruits of the district is assigned to 8 units receiving military service, including: Division 395 (Military Region 3), Thai Binh Provincial Military Command; Army Corps 12; Border Guard Command; General Staff; Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command; Navy; Brigade 86 (Chemical Corps). To successfully complete the target of selecting and calling young people to join the army, the District Military Command closely coordinates with departments, branches, and organizations to advise the District Military Service Council to properly implement the stages, steps, and procedures for selecting and calling citizens to join the army, ensuring democracy, objectivity, fairness, and compliance with the law. 100% of new recruits meet the requirements of political qualities, health, and educational level; Of which over 60% of young people have type 1 and type 2 health, more than 100 young people have university and college degrees.
