On the London floor, at 4:30 a.m. on March 4, 2025, the price of green Robusta coffee dominated, turning up sharply, increasing by 141 - 156 USD/ton, ranging from 5,143 - 5,547 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery price for May 2025 was 5,486 USD/ton (up 156 USD/ton), the delivery price for July 2025 was 5,444 USD/ton (up 154 USD/ton), the delivery price for September 2025 was 5,379 USD/ton (up 151 USD/ton) and the delivery price for November 2025 was 5,282 USD/ton (up 141 USD/ton).

Similarly, at the end of the trading session, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor increased compared to yesterday, increasing from 13.25 - 13.60 cents/lb, the delivery price of the terms fluctuated from 347.30 - 389.95 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period in May 2025 was 386.65 cents/lb (up 13.60 cents/lb), the delivery period in July 2025 was 378.20 cents/lb (up 13.45 cents/lb), the delivery period in September 2025 was 369.40 cents/lb (up 13.40 cents/lb) and the delivery period in December 2025 was 357.75 cents/lb (up 12.25 cents/lb).

At the end of the morning trading session on March 4, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee increased and decreased across delivery terms, ranging from 445.00 - 464.00 USD/ton, as recorded as follows. The delivery period for March 2025 was 461.25 USD/ton (down 2.25 USD/ton), the delivery period for May 2025 was 465.00 USD/ton (up 3.10 USD/ton), the delivery period for July 2025 was 457.95 USD/ton and the delivery period for September 2025 was 445.00 USD/ton.
Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day) Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

Domestic coffee prices turned up slightly, "green" returned.
According to information from Giacaphe.com, at 4:30 a.m. today, March 4, 2025, coffee prices increased slightly again, an increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday's trading session, currently the average purchase price is at 130,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 130,000 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 128,800 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 130,000 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 130,000 VND/kg.
The domestic coffee prices that Giacaphe.com lists every day are calculated based on the prices of two world coffee exchanges combined with continuous surveys from businesses and purchasing agents in key coffee growing areas across the country.

Experts say that the market is currently showing signs of recovery, which is believed to be due to very low inventories. According to a report from ICE, Arabica inventories in warehouses remain at their lowest level in 9 months, which will support market sentiment. In addition, this recovery comes after the market recorded stronger buying demand from exporters.
However, according to experts, coffee prices still have many potential risks, as the Brazilian Real continues to weaken, encouraging farmers in this country to increase sales. At the same time, with the supply of Robusta from Vietnam still abundant, coffee prices may not really enter a period of strong increase.
In the world market, coffee prices have fallen significantly in the past two weeks as roasters have built up sufficient inventories after previous purchases, while speculators have stepped up profit-taking.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian Coffee Industry Association (ABIC) forecasts that in the coming months, world coffee prices will continue to increase due to the coffee cultivation situation in Brazil - the largest coffee producing and exporting country and accounting for nearly half of the world's output, which has struggled with severe weather for many years, seriously affecting crops.
Brazil’s coffee output is forecast to fall due to drought, while Vietnam also saw a 10-15% decline in its recent harvest. This has led to a decrease in stocks and inventories.
