Today's live pig prices (December 11th) show a slight upward trend in the northern and central-Central Highlands provinces, while the southern market remains stable. The highest purchase price nationwide has been adjusted to 61,000 VND/kg in Bac Ninh .

Pork prices in Northern Vietnam
In the northern region, live pig prices fluctuated between 59,000 and 61,000 VND/kg. Specifically, Bac Ninh and Lai Chau provinces both saw an increase of 1,000 VND/kg, reaching 61,000 VND/kg and 60,000 VND/kg respectively. Most other localities such as Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Hanoi , Hung Yen, and Phu Tho maintained a price of 60,000 VND/kg. The lowest price in the region was 59,000 VND/kg, recorded in Lang Son and Ninh Binh.
Pork prices in Central and Central Highlands regions
The Central and Central Highlands markets also saw an increase of 1,000 VND/kg in Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong. Prices in Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa are currently 59,000 VND/kg, while Lam Dong reached 60,000 VND/kg. The prevailing price in the region is 58,000 – 60,000 VND/kg, with Thanh Hoa and Nghe An maintaining the highest price at 60,000 VND/kg. Hue and Da Nang have the lowest price at 58,000 VND/kg.
Pork prices in Southern Vietnam
In contrast to the two aforementioned regions, pork prices in the South remained stable, ranging from 57,000 to 60,000 VND/kg. Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, and Ho Chi Minh City continued to have the highest prices, reaching 60,000 VND/kg. The lowest price, 57,000 VND/kg, was recorded in Ca Mau.
