Attending the ceremony were representatives from the Standing Committee of the Provincial General Census Steering Committee, supervisors, team leaders, and enumerators.

Accordingly, the 2025 General Survey of Rural Areas and Agriculture in the province mobilized nearly 6,500 participants, including 4,357 surveyors directly conducting the survey in 3,995 areas, with a total of 564,895 households subject to the survey.
In Gia Lai (formerly) alone, there were 2,227 survey areas, corresponding to 2,227 surveyors conducting household questionnaires, 194 commune questionnaires, and 24 specialized surveyors conducting farm questionnaires. In addition, 218 survey team leaders were mobilized to coordinate and supervise the implementation.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Mr. Phan Quoc Hung, Director of Provincial Statistics and Deputy Head of the Provincial General Census Steering Committee, emphasized: This year's general census is taking place in a special context as the rearrangement and merger of commune-level administrative units according to the Central Resolution is being widely implemented. This is a major policy aimed at streamlining the apparatus and improving the effectiveness of state management, but it also poses many challenges for the survey work, especially at the grassroots level.
With a larger geographical area and some new officers familiar with the region, it requires high determination and close coordination from all levels and sectors, especially the team of investigators.

Mr. Phan Quoc Hung suggested that Party committees, government agencies, the Fatherland Front, and other organizations continue to strengthen propaganda efforts to ensure that people clearly understand the purpose, significance, and importance of the general census.
Members of the commune-level Steering Committee need to uphold a high sense of responsibility, master their professional skills, stay close to their assigned areas, and complete their tasks according to regulations, ensuring quality and timely completion. The results of the general census will be used as a basis for evaluating the quality of the staff.
In particular, Mr. Hung noted that investigators must seriously carry out the collection of information and record data electronically (CAPI) using tablets or smartphones, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and freedom from errors, in accordance with the regulations of the general census.

At the same time, he expects that, with the synchronized involvement of the entire political system and the efforts of the surveyors, the 2025 General Survey of Rural Areas and Agriculture in the province will be conducted seriously, safely, and on schedule, ensuring quality; contributing to providing important data to serve the management and policy planning for agricultural and rural development in the coming period.

Training on the methodology for the 2025 rural and agricultural census.

The results of the 2025 rural and agricultural survey must be substantive.
