Solving water supply problems at Tam Thang Industrial Park

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch on resolving the problem of water supply at Tam Thang Industrial Park (Tam Ky City).

The Provincial People's Committee believes that, on the basis of sharing, cooperation, mutual support for development, ensuring the harmony of interests between the parties and creating a favorable investment and business environment in the province, the Provincial People's Committee finds that the most suitable option is for Quang Nam Water Supply and Sewerage Joint Stock Company (CTNQN Company) to transfer to Phu Ninh Water Plant BOO Joint Stock Company (PNW Company) the responsibility of supplying water to Ducksan Vina Company (within the scope of CTNQN Company's water supply); the remaining scope of PNW Company's water supply remains the same. The above content has been agreed by CTNQN Company, the Provincial People's Committee acknowledges and highly appreciates this goodwill.

It is known that previously, at the meeting with the provincial leaders, PNW Company proposed that on July 31, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 5708 agreeing on the content: PNW Company is the only water supply unit in Tam Thang Industrial Park.

However, up to now, many procedures and official dispatch contents have not been completely resolved for enterprises to invest in supplying water to the entire industrial park according to the direction of the People's Committee. The company hopes that the Provincial People's Committee will pay attention and immediately direct the next steps that need to be supplemented, helping enterprises complete the dossier for the advisory agency to agree to grant licenses for the remaining routes to Tam Thang Industrial Park.

It is known that currently in Tam Thang Industrial Park there are 3 units operating in water supply, including CTNQN Company, this does not ensure the Government 's regulations on production, supply and consumption of clean water, leading to disputes over water supply areas in this industrial park.
