The contest had the participation of 126/126 wards and communes with a total of 180 teachers, competing in the subjects: English, Natural Science (Energy Circuits and Transformation) and experiential activities - career guidance. These are all typical teachers, selected from the grassroots competition.
This year’s competition saw the participation of many teachers of various ages and experiences. Many have been teaching for nearly 30 years, reaching maturity in terms of expertise and sophistication in the art of teaching.
Besides, many young teachers with little experience showed outstanding creativity in designing and presenting lectures, making a deep impression on the judges.
The contest is organized in two parts: subject teaching practice and practice organizing experiential and career-oriented activities. In the teaching practice contest, teachers conduct a lesson according to the 2018 General Education Program for secondary school level.
With the content of Experiential - Career Guidance Activities, teachers organize an activity that closely follows the requirements of the new program, demonstrating the ability to orient, guide, and develop skills for students.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, this year's lessons are of high quality, reflecting the spirit of educational innovation of the capital's teaching staff. Teachers prepare lessons carefully, clearly define goals, build coherent teaching plans; apply information technology, modern teaching equipment and digital learning materials in a practical way. Learning activities are designed in a diverse way, emphasizing experience, discovery and cooperation, thereby developing learners' capacity.
Many lessons demonstrate strong innovative thinking, linked to the local context, connecting culture - history - environment, helping students expand their practical knowledge. The participating teachers demonstrated solid professional qualifications, mastered the 2018 General Education Program and flexibly applied active teaching methods. Students participated in activities naturally and proactively; learning products ensured accuracy and creativity.

Compared to previous years, the quality of excellent teachers has increased significantly; the quality of lectures and experiential activities has many innovations. The organization of the contest was carried out methodically and professionally; the units coordinated closely, fully prepared the facilities and conditions for the organization.
