According to the Hanoi Department of Transport Inspectorate, in the first three months of the year, the unit issued violation notices to over 3,000 cases of traffic safety violations, imposing fines totaling over 11 billion VND, temporarily seizing 30 vehicles, and revoking driving licenses for a limited period in 328 cases.

Specifically, in the passenger transport sector, 1,195 administrative violations were recorded, resulting in fines exceeding 3.2 billion VND, the temporary seizure of 17 vehicles, and the temporary suspension of driving licenses in 151 cases.
Over 1,200 cases of illegal freight transport were recorded, resulting in fines exceeding 5.8 billion VND, the temporary seizure of 9 vehicles, and the temporary suspension of driving licenses in 175 cases.
In the field of urban order management, there were 735 cases, resulting in fines totaling over 641 million VND.
To maintain traffic safety and order in the coming period, Mr. Tran Nhat Quang, Chief Inspector of the Hanoi Department of Transport, requested that subordinate teams continue to implement the plan of deploying coordinated forces to set up checkpoints and manage traffic flow at points, areas, and routes with high traffic density, key construction sites of the city, and interprovincial bus stations.
