Ninh Binh Province Sports and Folk Dance Competition 2023

On the morning of September 15, at Yen Khanh District Cultural Center, the Provincial Women's Union organized the 2023 Sports and Folk Dance Competition with the theme "Healthy and beautiful Ninh Binh women".

Attending the event were comrade Tran Song Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, departments, branches and unions of the province, leaders of Yen Khanh district and a large number of cadres and women's union members.

Ninh Binh Province Sports and Folk Dance Competition 2023 — Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung presented flowers and congratulated the participating teams.

Participating in the 2023 Ninh Binh Provincial Sports and Folk Dance Competition are nearly 220 female cadres and members from 8 units representing 8 Women's Unions of districts and cities in the province.

With the theme "Healthy and beautiful Ninh Binh women", in a maximum of 7 minutes, the teams will present 2 folk dance performances performed to the music of songs praising the homeland, country, family, the fine traditions of Vietnamese women, praising the land and people of the ancient capital Hoa Lu, rich in historical and cultural traditions.

The entries were carefully invested in choreography, beautiful costumes, the contestants showed flexibility and strength in each dance, each movement, the music was on the right theme, the main point as required, attracting a lot of attention and follow-up from the audience.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the folk dance team of the Women's Union of Kim Son district; 3 second prizes to the folk dance teams of the Women's Union of Yen Khanh district, Hoa Lu district and Tam Diep city; 4 third prizes to the folk dance teams of the Women's Union of Gia Vien district, Yen Mo district, Nho Quan district and Ninh Binh city.

The 2023 Ninh Binh Province Sports and Folk Dance Competition is an opportunity for female members in the province to demonstrate their talents, beauty, abilities, and strengths. It is an opportunity for female members to exchange and learn, exchange experiences, strengthen solidarity, contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of women, and build the image of Ninh Binh women in the new era who are healthy enough to fulfill their responsibilities to themselves, their families, society, and the country.
