More than 100 players compete in the 2025 National Tennis Championship

(NLDO) - More than 100 tennis players compete at the 2025 National Tennis Championship, aiming for a ticket to the SEA Games

On the morning of October 13, the Department of Sports and Physical Training coordinated with the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province and NovaGroup to organize the National Tennis Championship - NovaWorld Cup 2025, one of the outstanding sports activities of Sports Festival 2025.

Taking place from October 13 to October 19, 2025 at NovaWorld Phan Thiet Tennis Court Complex ( Lam Dong province), this year's tournament brings together more than 100 professional tennis players from 14 strong units and clubs across the country, promising to bring eye-catching and emotional matches.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh delivered the opening speech

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that hosting a national tournament is an important step in the province's sports and tourism development strategy, contributing to promoting the image of a dynamic, integrated and potential Lam Dong.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Tennis Federation, Deputy Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee, said that in 2026, VTF is expected to continue to accompany NovaWorld Phan Thiet and Lam Dong province to organize about 20/60 national and international professional tennis tournaments here. VTF is committed to making efforts to build Lam Dong into a new "capital" of tennis in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

The Organizing Committee took souvenir photos with accompanying units and delegation leaders.

The 2025 National Tennis Championship will be held at NovaWorld International Tennis Complex - an international standard tennis court system including 14 Laykold courts, 4 mobile roof courts and a modern clubhouse, invested according to international standards.

"I came to this year's tournament with the spirit of playing my best and determined to defend my championship title. I want to continue to contribute beautiful matches to the fans and look forward to the 33rd SEA Games in December 2025 in Thailand with the Vietnamese team." - Vu Ha Minh Duc, Vietnam's No. 1 tennis player, expressed.
