Meeting of the Final Jury Council of the 4th Dien Hong Award

At the meeting, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh emphasized that the fourth Dien Hong Award - 2026 with the theme "80 years of the National Assembly of Vietnam" is an important political task in the Project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026). The fourth Dien Hong Award - 2026 also has the meaning of continuing the success of the previous 3 seasons, at the same time, closing a vibrant and positive term of the 15th National Assembly with many important events, contributing to spreading the values, achievements and marks of the 15th National Assembly over the past 80 years.

The Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office said that after more than 10 months of launching, the Organizing Committee has received 3,578 works from 125 press agencies nationwide. Through a serious, impartial, scientific and responsible working process, the Preliminary Judging Council has selected 659 works for the preliminary round; unanimously introducing 91 best works to the final round.

Through preliminary assessment, this year's works have high professional quality, comprehensively reflecting the outstanding results of the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in the past year and the journey of construction and development of the Vietnamese National Assembly over the past 80 years since the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly. Many works have been invested in elaborately, strongly applying information technology and multimedia communications, showing the innovations and professionalism of parliamentary journalism in the digital age.

Stating that the Final Round is of decisive significance in selecting excellent works that have widespread influence and reflect the spirit of innovation, democracy, and professional responsibility of the National Assembly, the Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office requested that the Final Round Judging Council continue to promote the spirit of impartiality and objectivity; take time to discuss carefully to select typical works that are truly worthy of the scale and significance of the fourth Dien Hong Award with the theme "80 years of the National Assembly of Vietnam".

The Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office believes that with the prestige and sense of responsibility of the Council members, the high-quality final judging results will contribute to honoring the authors and groups of authors whose works won prizes, affirming the important role of press agencies in informing and propagating promptly, fully and accurately the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, successfully serving the task of developing and building the Socialist Republic of Vietnam's rule-of-law State.

According to the Summary Report of the activities of the Fourth Dien Hong Award Preliminary Council - 2026, the Preliminary Council discussed and agreed to introduce 91 works to the final round, including the following categories: 15 print newspapers; 20 electronic newspapers; 15 magazines; 15 radio broadcasts; 16 television broadcasts; 10 photos.
