The first district in Hai Duong has posted a list of voters to get opinions on administrative unit arrangement.

Phu Thai town officials posted the voter list at the town People's Committee headquarters.

The total number of voters subject to posting and collecting opinions on the arrangement of administrative units in the whole district is more than 30,000 people. After posting the list of voters, Kim Thanh district directed localities subject to arrangement and merger to organize the collection of voters' opinions. The district directed localities to fully and seriously disseminate documents of the Central, provincial and district levels so that cadres, party members and people are fully aware of the policies, purposes, requirements, tasks and plans for the arrangement of commune-level administrative units to create consensus in implementation. The collection of voters' opinions is unified by Kim Thanh district for each village, hamlet and residential area. The time is from March 3 and completed no later than March 10.

Kim Thanh is the first district-level unit in Hai Duong to complete this content.

In the period of 2023 - 2025, Kim Thanh district has 8 communes and towns subject to rearrangement and merger (including Lai Vu, Cong Hoa, Co Dung, Thuong Vu, Phuc Thanh, Binh Dan, Lien Hoa, Phu Thai town and adjusting part of Quynh Khe 1 village of Kim Xuyen commune). After the rearrangement and merger, Kim Thanh district has 14 administrative units including 13 communes and 1 town (4 communes less than before the rearrangement).
