Connecting businesses in the Central Highlands with authorities at all levels

DNVN - On April 10th in Da Nang City, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Central - Central Highlands Branch will host the 2024 conference of business associations and enterprises in the Central - Central Highlands region.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Quang, Director of the VCCI Central-Western Highlands Branch, said that the conference will be attended by representatives from the Da Nang City People's Committee; VCCI leaders; leaders of Da Nang City departments and agencies; leaders of business associations, businesses, and VCCI members in the Central-Western Highlands region.

According to the program, at this conference, VCCI leaders will share with the business community the orientation and key tasks of VCCI's innovation program in the coming period. Dr. Can Van Luc – Chief Economist of BIDV – will present on “Vietnam's Economy and Policies 2024: Opportunities, Challenges and Solutions for Businesses”.

Within the framework of the conference, the organizing committee arranged several areas for displaying and introducing products and promoting information about businesses. At the same time, the conference dedicated considerable time to listening to feedback from businesses. On this occasion, the VCCI Central - Central Highlands region also presented Certificates of Merit from the VCCI President to businesses and entrepreneurs in the region who achieved outstanding results in 2023.

“The 2024 Conference of Associations and Enterprises in the Central and Central Highlands regions aims to promote linkages and cooperation among associations and enterprises, and connect them with government agencies at all levels in the region. We warmly welcome businesses to participate in the program, which is completely free; the deadline for registration is April 7th,” said Mr. Nguyen Tien Quang.

According to a report by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Central and Western Highlands region, in 2023, 84 training courses, conferences, and workshops were organized to enhance the management capacity and professional skills of business associations and enterprises. Simultaneously, 9 business surveys were conducted directly and in coordination with other units to identify difficulties and support needs of business communities, in order to promptly propose solutions to the competent authorities.

2023 was also the year in which the Business Support and Consulting Network, the Integration Consulting Group, and the Labor Law Consulting Network of VCCI Central and Central Highlands regions provided consulting support to many businesses in the region on issues related to legal fields, labor law, taxation, and international economic integration.
