October 16, Fodor's Travel - an 80-year-old American travel site - announced the top 100 best hotels in the world in 2025. The classification is by continent. Asia has 22 award-winning accommodations. Of which, The Anam Cam Ranh (Cam Lam, Khanh Hoa) is the only representative of Vietnam to appear on this list.

Fodor's Travel Review of Cam Ranh Bay Hotel with its sophisticated, classic aesthetic and ocean views. This is one of the first luxury resorts to put Cam Ranh on the world tourism map.

"The Anam is a sophisticated combination of classic French architectural beauty and traditional Vietnamese charm. Here, visitors can find the pristine beauty of coconut trees, frangipani trees, white sand beaches and clear blue water," the travel site wrote.

Currently, the 5-star resort of The Anam Group owns 300m of coastline on Cam Ranh peninsula (where there is an average of more than 300 sunny days per year). With an area of 12 hectares, the facility has about 77 villas, 136 standard and premium rooms. The design has an Indochinese feel. The price for a single room for 2 people is about 5 million VND/night.

The highlight here is the convenience with a variety of services from European-Vietnamese cuisine, beach club, spa, 3D cinema, large swimming pool, lobby/conference room, entertainment and sports center, yoga studio, kids club, organic farm, souvenir shop and 18-hole mini golf course, golf practice area, clubhouse, football field, tennis court, jogging track. Next to it is the largest conference center in Cam Ranh Axi Plaza.

Mr. Laurent Myter, General Manager of The Anam Group, shared that the group is aiming for a nostalgic Vietnamese hotel brand that is familiar but different, a Vietnamese brand that can stand shoulder to shoulder with international hotel chains that are flooding into Vietnam.

The list of 22 best hotels in Asia also includes Amanpuri (located at Pansea Beach, Phuket, Thailand).

The American travel magazine said the property is a favorite destination for celebrities because of its privacy and luxury. In addition, guests can enjoy meals at Nama restaurant, which was redesigned by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma in the style of an izakaya (meaning a Japanese-style drinking place, sitting and drinking), omakase and sake counters.

India has two award-winning properties, The Leela Palace Udaipur and The Oberoi Udaivilas, both located in Udaipur.

According to Fodor's Travel , the 100 award-winning hotels represent 0.014% of the best accommodations anywhere on the planet. The organization screened and synthesized opinions from 750 industry experts and analyzed thousands of hotel reviews, to select 100 out of approximately 700,000 accommodations worldwide (data from the World Tourism Organization, abbreviated as UNWTO).
