Having been held nine times, the camp has proven to be a healthy and beneficial playground, contributing to the education of revolutionary ideals, fostering political acumen, a sense of responsibility, a will to overcome difficulties, and promoting the pioneering spirit, creativity, and volunteerism of the youth of the Armed Forces of the Military Region. At the same time, through diverse activities, the camp provides opportunities for officers and youth union members to improve their skills in youth union work, strengthen exchanges, learning, and bonds between units and affiliated forces.

Colonel Le Van Viet, Deputy Head of Political Affairs of Military Region 9, delivered the opening remarks.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the participating units entered the "Dances in Group Activities" competition. The performances were meticulously prepared, lively, and showcased the spirit of solidarity, enthusiastic competition, and creativity of the youth. This is one of the key activities of the camp, contributing to enriching the spiritual life and enhancing the effectiveness of Youth Union activities at the grassroots level.

The performances were elaborately staged by the regimental and brigade units of Military Region 9.

The traditional camp spaces are elaborately decorated, each bearing the distinct mark of its respective unit.

The camp took place over two days, July 26th and 27th, with the participation of 12 units. Within the framework of the camp, many practical and meaningful activities were organized, such as: medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for policy beneficiary families and poor households; visiting and giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, policy beneficiary families, and officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances; awarding "100 Dong Houses"; a competition for the most beautiful tents and traditional games; and visiting the Ba Chuc Memorial Site…

These activities have contributed to spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, strengthening the relationship between the military and the people, and illuminating the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the hearts of the people.

On the same day, delegates and participants of the camp visited and laid flowers and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Doc Ba Dac Martyrs' Cemetery (Thoi Son commune, An Giang province), expressing their profound gratitude to those who bravely sacrificed themselves for the cause of national liberation and the protection of the Fatherland.
