The heroic atmosphere in the program celebrating the 75th anniversary of Traditional Students' Day (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2025) at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2025), the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); Ho Chi Minh City Museum in coordination with the Vietnam Student Association of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City organized a celebration program with the theme "Forever the flame of Tran Van On" to review the heroic tradition of the nation, the passionate patriotism, the indomitable fighting spirit and the endless creativity of previous generations of students, contributing to the glorious history of the nation's struggle against foreign invaders.

The program was honored to welcome: Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Le Tu Cam - Former Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Ho Chi Minh City, President of the Cultural Heritage Association of Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Le Ton Thanh - Former Permanent Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Duong Quan Ha - Chairman of the Resistance Tradition Club of Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Nguyen Huu Chau - Son of Lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho, representatives of the Women's Union of Ho Chi Minh City, Museums in Ho Chi Minh City, reporters from press agencies and television stations in Ho Chi Minh City to attend and report.

The program takes place with many activities:

– Offering incense and flowers to the statues of Mr. Tran Van On and Ms. Quach Thi Trang at Bach Tung Diep Park to express our remembrance and gratitude to generations of students who sacrificed for national independence, contributing to writing the glorious history of the nation.

– Visit the thematic exhibition “Following the Rhythm of the Upward Journey” introducing images of the struggle movement of generations of Saigon – Gia Dinh students in the resistance war against French colonialism and American imperialism. The images will help today’s youth feel the excitement and enthusiasm of the previous generation.

– The program of exchange and meeting with historical witnesses: Ms. Truong My Le (alias Tu Liem) – Former Secretary of the City Youth Union, Permanent Deputy Head of the City Youth Union Tradition Club; Mr. Pham Xuan Binh (alias Hai Hoa) – Former Chief of Office of the City Youth Union, Deputy Head of the City Youth Union Tradition Club and Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen – Former General Secretary of the General Association of Students of Southern Vietnam (term 1971 – 1972) – Former Standing Member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City brought stories that inspired the flame of enthusiasm and patriotism. Thereby contributing to creating motivation, urging the younger generation to continue and promote the precious tradition, contributing a part of their efforts to the cause of building a rich and civilized Vietnam.
