Impressive Ao Dai performance by wives of foreign Ambassadors in Vietnam

The wives of the Ambassadors of the United States, Armenia, Morocco, Czech Republic and Indonesia wore Ao Dai designs on stage at the program "The Fragrance and Beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai".

Recently, the art program Fragrance and beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai took place at Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi . The event was to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024) and is part of the Ao Dai Week 2024.

The program "Fragrance and beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai" is organized with the desire to honor Ao Dai in life, culture and society, at the same time arouse love, pride and responsibility to preserve and promote the value of Ao Dai heritage and promote the country and people of Vietnam to become closer to many international friends.

At the event, designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam and more than 50 ao dai designers from across the country brought unique collections, honoring the ao dai and Vietnamese women. In addition to the designs, the program also impressed with the combination of music and dance and 3D sound and light technology to create visual effects.

The Ao Dai collections are presented according to 3 themes: Pride of Vietnamese Ao Dai , Soul of Vietnamese Ao Dai and Essence of Vietnamese Ao Dai . The series of creations are inspired by famous heritages and majestic natural landscapes of Vietnam...

In particular, the program also had the participation of the wives of the Ambassadors of the United States, Armenia, Morocco, Czech Republic and Indonesia on stage. The wives performed Ao Dai designs - products of the cultural exchange between Vietnam and the participating countries.

Initiated in 2019, Ao Dai Week is held annually with many activities to honor Vietnamese Ao Dai. This year, the week takes place from March 1 to March 8 nationwide.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union - presented a commemorative medal to designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam.
