Key weather highlights for November 25, 2024

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, a strong cold front will affect the Northeast region of Vietnam around late afternoon and night of November 25th, followed by the North Central, Northwest, and Central regions. Northeast winds will be strong, reaching levels 3-4 inland and 4-5 along the coast.

On November 26th, the weather in Northern Vietnam and North Central Vietnam turned cold, with freezing temperatures in mountainous areas. From the night of November 26th, the weather in Northern Vietnam and North Central Vietnam became cold. The lowest temperatures during this cold spell in Northern Vietnam and North Central Vietnam were generally 16-18 degrees Celsius, 12-14 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas, and below 10 degrees Celsius in high mountainous areas.

In the Hanoi area, there will be scattered rain from the evening of November 25th to the morning of November 26th. On November 26th, the weather will turn cold, becoming chilly from that night onwards. The lowest temperature during this cold spell will generally be 17-19 degrees Celsius.

Due to the influence of a cold front, scattered rain is expected in the Northeast region from the evening and night of November 25th to the morning of November 26th. From early morning on November 26th, rain, moderate rain, and locally heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in the North and Central Central regions.

From Da Nang to Binh Thuan, the northern part will experience scattered rain and showers, with thunderstorms in some areas, and locally heavy rain. The southern part will have scattered showers and thunderstorms at night, and sunny days. Northeast winds will be at level 2-3. The lowest temperature will be 23-26 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 27-29 degrees Celsius in the north and 29-32 degrees Celsius in the south.

In the Central Highlands, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms at night, followed by sunny weather during the day. Northeast winds will be at level 2-3. The lowest temperature will be 20-23 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will be 27-30 degrees Celsius.

Southern Vietnam: Showers and thunderstorms in some areas at night, sunny during the day. Northeast wind at level 2-3. Lowest temperature 23-26 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 31-34 degrees Celsius.
