Water levels in the upper reaches of the Dong Nai River are currently high.

(Dong Nai) - On the afternoon of September 3rd, the Dong Nai Meteorological and Hydrological Station announced that the water level in the upper reaches of the Dong Nai River system is currently high, posing a risk of flooding in low-lying areas along the rivers and streams, adversely affecting waterway transportation, aquaculture, and agricultural production in the rivers, streams, and riverbanks.

At the Ta Lai station, the water level, after reaching 112.52m at 9:00 AM on September 3rd, has been slowly receding and is currently near alarm level 2 (112.50m); at 1:00 PM on September 3rd, it was at 112.45m.

Flood warning for the following areas: Dong Nai River, from the upstream section to the communes of Dak Lua, Nam Cat Tien, Ta Lai, Thanh Son, Phu Vinh, and Dinh Quan in Dong Nai province.

Forecast for the next 24 hours: Water levels at Ta Lai station will change slowly, fluctuating above alarm level 1 (112.00m) to approximately alarm level 2 (112.50m).

Flood alert level 1 is likely on the Dong Nai River.

Be prepared for the possibility of heavy rain combined with flooding, causing inundation and landslides along riverbanks and streams in low-lying areas in the communes of Dak Lua, Nam Cat Tien, Ta Lai, Thanh Son, Phu Vinh, Dinh Quan, and surrounding areas.
