*China calls for establishing stable relations with the US: On November 7, Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to US President-elect Donald Trump, calling for the building of "stable, healthy, and sustainable" bilateral relations.

China's state television (CCTV) quoted Xi Jinping as emphasizing that history shows both countries benefit from cooperation and suffer from confrontation. He expressed hope that both sides would strengthen dialogue, manage differences, and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.

In his first message since Trump's re-election as President, the Chinese leader called on the two countries to uphold the principles of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence for the common benefit of both countries and the international community.

President Xi Jinping emphasized: "A stable, healthy, and sustainable China-U.S. relationship is in the common interest of both countries and is in line with the expectations of the international community." (AFP)

*New Indonesian President visits China: Just over two weeks after taking office, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will make his first overseas trip to China from November 8-10, at the invitation of President Xi Jinping.

According to an announcement from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during this state visit, President Prabowo is expected to meet with President Xi Jinping and other high-ranking Chinese officials. The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the special importance of the visit in promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries across various fields.
