Starting from December 7, in the border commune of My Ly, the road from the commune center to Xang Tren village, Xop Duong village to Cha Nga village is busier than usual. The reason is that the People's Committee of the commune has launched a "campaign" to build roads and bring electricity to Cha Nga village. This is a village that has been isolated since the historic floods from July 2025 until now, for nearly 4 months there has been no electricity, no roads, people can only go to the commune center by river and walk for nearly a day. The distance is both far and dangerous when having to go along steep cliffs and sections of fast-flowing rivers with many dangerous rapids.

Mr. Luong Van Bay - Chairman of My Ly Commune People's Committee said that on December 5, My Ly Commune People's Committee held a conference to unify the plan to build a rural road from Xang Tren village to Cha Nga village. The unification of the road construction plan is of great significance, contributing to improving traffic infrastructure, facilitating travel, trade and socio -economic development of the people of the two villages in particular and My Ly commune in general.

Starting from December 7, more than 230 people participated every day, including the "main" forces such as Border Guard, Police, Military, Forest Ranger Station, teachers of 4 schools, villagers and Nghe An Electricity Company. Lieutenant Colonel Phan Duc Tam - Political Commissar of My Ly Border Guard Station said that the unit sent 23 officers and soldiers to join the forces in breaking rocks, opening roads, and bringing electricity to Cha Nga village. The workload was huge, requiring perseverance, resilience and the joint efforts of the forces.

The principal of My Ly 1 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Mr. Nguyen The Vinh, also said that he and some teachers also took the opportunity to contribute their efforts and work to complete the road soon. “Since storm No. 3, My Ly has had to endure the disruption of its infrastructure. In particular, the main road from the center to the villages is now just a field of jagged, sharp rocks. The road is blocked, which also means that the livelihoods of the people are blocked, and the way to school for the children is more bumpy. We hope to contribute to quickly overcome this situation,” said Mr. Nguyen The Vinh.

With a high spirit of determination, the forces and people of My Ly have united to show solidarity with the spirit of “turning the impossible into possible”, determined to leave no one behind. The completed road will not only be a path, but also a path of livelihood, knowledge and belief to rise up after the storm and flood.
Previously, the road to Cha Nga village after storm No. 3 was eroded and completely collapsed into the riverbed, 36/93 houses of the people were swept away by water and there was no electricity grid.

Up to now, people as well as forces when wanting to go in and out of the village have to risk walking along the mountainside and along the broken road, then continue a distance by river to be able to reach the place. is currently in a state of landslides and continues to have a high risk of landslides. 36/93 houses have been completely swept away by the raging flood.

"It is expected that more than 230 people will be mobilized each day, in which the main forces are often agencies such as My Ly Border Guard Station, Police, Military , and 4 schools. On the first day, there will be the participation of people from 3 villages: Xang Tren, Nhot Lot, Pieng Vai, and the remaining 9 villages will take turns sending people to participate to strive to open the motorbike road to Cha Nga village, creating conditions for bringing electricity to the village" - Mr. Luong Van Bay said.
