In response to the increasing demands from consumers regarding nutritional value, health, environmental factors, and sustainable development in the instant food industry, Acecook Vietnam has been continuously striving to create nutritious products while promoting the sustainable development of its brand.

At the seminar " Sustainable Development Trends in the Instant Food Industry Today " organized by the Vietnam Women's Newspaper, Mr. Pham Trung Thanh - Head of External Relations, Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company - shared: Currently, consumer demand for products is increasing, but consumers are also becoming more discerning in their product choices. Therefore, Acecook Vietnam is constantly innovating and improving production to meet the needs of customers of all ages. Not limited to traditional instant noodles, the company has expanded into new food types such as vermicelli, rice noodles, pho, and hu tieu. These products offer low calorie content, suitable for customers with healthy eating habits, especially women, and also provide a wider variety of food choices for consumers.

In addition, the company has added nutritional value to its instant noodle products by using ingredients enriched with potato and pea-based components. The company is also promoting the development of bowls, cups, and trays with toppings made from dried vegetables, meat, and shrimp using freeze-drying, preserving the nutritional value of convenient meals for consumers.

Acecook's instant noodles for children are fortified with calcium, providing one-third of a child's daily calcium requirement.

Furthermore, Acecook also promotes the use of products fortified with micronutrients. Instant noodles and porridge products for children are fortified with 230mg of calcium and 7g of soluble fiber Inulin, providing one-third of children's daily calcium and fiber needs. Vermicelli products are also fortified with vitamin B12. As for its flagship product, Hao Hao instant noodles, all are fortified with 330mg of calcium, meeting the daily calcium requirements for adults.

Efforts to protect the environment in production and consumption.

Protecting the environment is a responsibility for every business. Acecook Vietnam has proactively pioneered the application of environmentally friendly measures, from production processes to product packaging. The company has improved its products, switching from plastic cups to paper cups, using biodegradable plastic forks (made from starch), and researching environmentally friendly packaging materials. In particular, the company is gradually reducing its use of dwindling fossil fuels and shifting towards clean, environmentally friendly energy sources such as solar energy and clean gas combustion, contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and saving energy.

In addition to environmental protection activities within the company, Acecook Vietnam also aims to spread this awareness among its employees and extend it to the wider community.

One of the standout campaigns is "Continuing the Life of the Plastic Cup," which encourages employees and consumers to recycle plastic products into useful items in a creative and simple way. This initiative has created a rebirth for old materials and sent a strong message about environmental protection.

Sustainable development for the community and the future.

In addition to focusing on creating nutritious products and supporting environmental protection efforts, Acecook Vietnam also identifies sustainable development as one of its top priorities and a core objective in its long-term strategy.

One of the standout projects is "Happy Noodles," which provides nutritious food to underprivileged children in remote areas. Beyond improving their daily nutrition, this project also helps these children have the opportunity to continue their education and build a better future.

Acecook also collaborates with the Department of Dike Management and Disaster Prevention and Control (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) to implement a project to disseminate knowledge on disaster prevention and control and develop suitable products. The project contributes to raising awareness and skills among people in coping with natural disasters, especially in areas frequently affected by climate change.

In addition, Acecook Vietnam is also promoting workshops, in collaboration with the National Institute of Nutrition, to disseminate knowledge about nutrition to women – who play a crucial role in deciding on family meals. This project has been implemented in 40 provinces and cities nationwide and has yielded significant results.

Acecook Vietnam has proven that the instant food industry is not just about convenient products, but can also make a positive contribution to consumer health and environmental protection. With systematic investment and a long-term development strategy, Acecook will continue to create products that provide high nutritional value and accompany Vietnamese consumers on their journey towards a happy and sustainable life.
