The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued an official dispatch requesting departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of wards and communes, according to their functions and tasks, to continue to seriously and effectively implement the directives of the Government and the Prime Minister on strengthening the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the new situation.

Specifically, the City People's Committee requested to perform well the work of local management, promote the work of inspection and supervision of production, business and import of goods, especially for medicines and food products on a regular and continuous basis with the spirit of "working day, working night, working extra on holidays" to promptly detect and strictly handle violators, with the motto of "handling one case, warning the whole region, the whole field", "no forbidden areas, no exceptions".

In particular, resolutely prevent, combat, stop and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, infringement of intellectual property rights, especially strictly and thoroughly handle counterfeit drugs and fake foods to protect the health, lives, rights and legitimate interests of people and businesses; protect security and health safety for the people.
