As part of the agricultural development training program supported by Asan City (South Korea), a group of trainees from Ninh Binh province visited the rice processing plant of the Young In Agricultural Cooperative.
All factory operations are automated.
This is the largest and most modern rice processing plant in Asan City, covering an area of 3 hectares and with a processing capacity of 7 tons of rice per hour; on average, it produces, preserves, stores, and markets approximately 100,000 tons of finished rice per day.
What's special about this factory is that all stages, from drying, milling, removing impurities, polishing, packaging, warehousing, storage, and transportation, are completely automated. Therefore, the factory only has 8 workers, mainly responsible for management, operation, maintenance, and servicing of the machinery.
Young In's rice products meet the highest standards of quality, food safety, and environmental protection, as even the packaging is made from eco-friendly materials.
During the visit, the trainees, who are officials and leaders from communes, cooperatives, and exemplary agricultural businesses in Ninh Binh, exchanged information and learned about the advanced technologies that the Young In factory is applying, as well as the mechanism for signing rice procurement contracts between cooperatives and farmers; methods of marketing, distribution, and consumption of products, etc., thereby learning and finding ways to apply them in their localities.
