A 100,000-ton/year rice processing plant in Asan City operates with only eight workers.

Within the framework of the Agricultural Development Training Program supported by Asan City (Korea), the trainee delegation of Ninh Binh province visited the rice processing factory of Young In Agricultural Cooperative.

All factory operations are automated.

This is the largest and most modern rice processing factory in Asan city, with an area of ​​3 hectares and a processing capacity of 7 tons of rice per hour; on average, each day it produces, preserves, stores and brings to market about 100,000 tons of finished rice.

The special thing about this factory is that all the stages from drying, milling, sand filtering, rice polishing, packaging, warehousing, preservation, transportation... are fully automated. Therefore, the number of workers in the factory is only 8 people, mainly performing management, operation, maintenance and repair of machinery.

During the visit, the interns, who are cadres, leaders of communes, cooperatives, and typical agricultural enterprises of Ninh Binh, exchanged and learned about the advanced technologies that Young In Factory is applying, as well as the mechanism of signing rice purchasing contracts between cooperatives and farmers; methods of marketing, distributing, consuming products, etc., thereby learning and finding ways to apply them locally.
