
Accordingly, the delegation visited Mr. Nguyen Van Phung, born in 1927, residing at Group 11, Ward 7, Phu Tho Commune , Thu Dau Mot City, and Mr. Bui Huu Giao, born in 1934, residing at Ward 6, Phu Hoa Commune, Thu Dau Mot City.
During their visits, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi and the delegation cordially inquired about and wished good health to the soldiers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign in 1954, contributing to the historic victory that resonated throughout the world.
The Secretary of the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee wished the veterans continued good health, happiness, and well-being with their children and grandchildren; and that they would continue to be shining examples for the younger generation to follow.

Around the same time, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the Binh Duong Provincial Red Cross Society, also carried out many activities to visit and present gifts to soldiers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign in 1954 in various localities throughout the province.
According to a review, there are currently 68 Dien Bien Phu veterans in Binh Duong province (30 are still alive and 38 have passed away).
