Meanwhile, earlier this year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology also announced the deduction of training points for students who registered online but did not come to receive them in the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year. Accordingly, in order to facilitate students in registering procedures and documents related to students such as: student certificates, confirmation of student loans, educational incentives, etc., the school organized for students to register online procedures.
"However, many students registered online and had their applications processed, but after a month from the processing date, they did not come to receive their registered documents. This caused loss and waste of paper, ink, time and labor while the school tried to meet the needs and serve students as quickly as possible," the school's announcement stated.
Therefore, the school announced the deduction of practice points for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year and a warning to 401 students who registered online but did not come to receive their documents. In addition, the school sent warnings and reminders to 96 first-year students of the 29th course who registered online but did not come to receive their documents. If the students continue to violate the regulations in the following semesters for 3 consecutive semesters or more, the school will consider disciplinary action according to regulations.

According to school regulations, the results of students' training assessment for each semester and school year are saved in the school's student management file and are used in reviewing scholarships, rewards - discipline, dropping out of school, stopping studying, staying in dormitories, solving part-time jobs, exempting costs, services and living in dormitories and other priorities according to school regulations.
The results of the student's training assessment for the entire course are kept in the school's student management file, and are used as a basis for graduation exams, theses, or graduation dissertations. Students with excellent training results are considered for commendation and rewards by the school. Students who are classified as weak or poor in training for two consecutive semesters must temporarily suspend their studies for at least one semester in the following semester, and if they are classified as weak or poor in training for two consecutive semesters for the second time, they will be forced to leave school.
