Activities within the framework of the forum "Each youth, a book as a friend" in 2024 were held this afternoon. The activities aim to welcome the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels towards the 9th National Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029, at the same time implementing the association's cooperation program and youth movement in 2024 and towards Vietnam Book Day (April 21).

According to the Vietnam Youth Union, these two contests will be an opportunity for members, young people, and students to share the meaning of dialogues, paragraphs, good pages, and good books that have changed their thinking and perception in life.

Two contests were launched in early April. Readers can share about good and meaningful books that change their perception and life. Readers can make video clips introducing famous historical and cultural figures in Vietnam or in other localities, books, or chapters in books about historical figures in Vietnam.

The award ceremony of the contest is expected to be held on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's traditional day (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2024).

Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, also said that the program "One book for each youth" in 2024 will continue to help young people, students, and pupils better understand the meaning and importance of reading, reading methods, and help them access knowledge, skills, and experiences from books more quickly.
