Currently, the city has been implementing related works to support the completion of many important projects in the area. Specifically, Van Thanh Bridge, Renewing the coastal axis road DT.719B, Phan Thiet - Ke Ga section, Ham Kiem Road to Tien Thanh; Nguyen Van Linh Road Expansion Project, from Ky Con Street to 19/4 Street. In addition, in the city, there are also a group of projects included in the medium-term plan for the period 2021 - 2025 that have been authorized by the competent authority to prepare a report proposing investment policies or have approved investment policies such as: Ca Ty River embankment, Ca Ty Apartment, Road surface improvement, sidewalks, technical infrastructure of Thu Khoa Huan Street, from Le Hong Phong Street to Ton Duc Thang Street; Road to Phan Thiet Airport (phase 2); Route 2 connecting DT.706 Road and DT.706B Road; Repair and upgrade Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street and Huynh Thuc Khang Street (from Hoang Ngoc Tourist Area to Lang Chai intersection); Upgrade Thu Khoa Huan Street (from Ton Duc Thang Street to Ke Bridge); Repair and upgrade Tran Hung Dao Street (from 19/4 Roundabout to Tran Phu Street)...

Urgent completion of key traffic works

Recently, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai chaired a meeting to listen to reports on investment and construction of traffic projects in Phan Thiet City according to the conclusion of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. Accordingly, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested that for the group of projects under construction in the area, the Phan Thiet City People's Committee urgently direct the acceleration of compensation and site clearance progress so that investors can implement and complete the project on schedule. For investors, it is necessary to proactively prepare capital for compensation and site clearance; in case of insufficient capital, coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment to report and advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider supplementing capital to implement and ensure the set schedule. At the same time, investors must develop a progress chart and regularly urge the progress to ensure the completion of construction according to the determined plan.

Regarding the project to renew the coastal axis road DT.719B, Phan Thiet - Ke Ga section, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Provincial People's Council to supplement capital for site clearance. Assign the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to work and request Tan Quang Cuong Trading Company Limited to speed up the progress of exploitation and land reclamation according to the approved design elevation of DT.719B road to hand over the site to the investor to implement the construction of the section through the company's titanium mining project. Regarding the project to expand Nguyen Van Linh Street, from Ky Con Street to 19/4 Street, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to direct the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to urgently provide opinions on introducing the remaining resettlement land plot for the Phan Thiet City People's Committee to organize the implementation of compensation, support and resettlement to ensure the site for project implementation...

According to Conclusion 703 on the expansion orientation of Phan Thiet City and the planning orientation of some important areas of Phan Thiet City: The city needs to plan a smooth coastal route from the North (bordering Hong Phong commune, Bac Binh district) to the South (bordering Thuan Quy commune, Ham Thuan Nam district), creating a smooth connecting route for the coastal area. Prioritize the construction of roads and river crossings through the wards of Phu Hai, Thanh Hai, Phu Thuy, Hung Long, Duc Thang, Lac Dao, Duc Long and Tien Thanh commune (such as the Cai River crossing, the coastal road connecting from Road No. 1/5 (Phu Hai ward) to the Cai River crossing to Le Loi Street; Ca Ty River crossing, the coastal road connecting from Le Loi Street, Ca Ty River crossing to Tran Le Street, Lac Long Quan Street...).
