Emphasizing the nation's fine moral tradition of "respecting the elderly brings longevity," the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council affirmed that in recent years, activities of visiting, encouraging, and giving gifts to the elderly have been given attention by Party committees, governments, sectors, and localities in the province; the material and spiritual lives of the elderly have continuously improved.

At the same time, he urged them to propagate and encourage their children and grandchildren to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and contribute to the development of the residential area.
The comrade suggested that local Party committees and authorities should regularly pay attention to and do a good job of caring for the material and spiritual lives of the elderly, so that they can always live happily, healthily, and long lives, serving as a strong spiritual support for their children and grandchildren.
