Promoting Chi Lang custard apple, a specialty agricultural product of Lang Son province in 2024 in Hanoi

The agricultural produce and regional specialty market; the 2024 Chi Lang custard apple promotion week, featuring agricultural specialties of Lang Son province, will have over 70 booths from units, cooperatives, businesses, and farmers' associations from provinces and cities such as: Ha Giang , Lang Son, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Ha Nam, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Phu Yen, Binh Thuan, Can Tho, Ca Mau… with 30 booths specifically dedicated to the Chi Lang custard apple promotion week, an agricultural specialty of Lang Son province.

At this market fair, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Lang Son province organized a booth to promote and introduce Chi Lang custard apples and other agricultural specialties and OCOP products of Lang Son province such as: star anise, dried macadamia nuts, Bao Lam seedless persimmons, Van Lang Vanh Khuyen persimmons, Trang Dinh black jelly, wild lemons - Mau Son six-toed chickens… beautifully decorated and impressive for visitors.

In addition, the market features a diverse range of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products produced organically, using ecological farming methods, and applying high technology in production and processing; traditional craft products; OCOP products that have been ranked 3 to 5 stars under the One Commune One Product Program; and many famous agricultural products and specialties such as Thai Nguyen tea; Linh Son guava; Ly Son onions and garlic; Phung Gia mushrooms; dried vegetables and fruits; aquatic products; and many other high-quality, branded, and reputable agricultural specialties.

Na Chi Lang is being promoted at the Fair.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien – Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center – said that, following the success of the "Agricultural Products and Regional Specialties Fair" held last June, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has directed the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center to coordinate with relevant units to organize the second event with the theme "Agricultural Products and Regional Specialties Fair; Week of Promoting Na and Agricultural Specialties of Lang Son Province in 2024" in Hanoi in 2024.

With the goal of supporting localities, businesses, cooperatives, and agricultural production facilities in developing their businesses, expanding markets, and focusing more on the domestic market with the motto "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and "Vietnamese goods conquer Vietnamese consumers"; promoting and advertising brands, honoring clean and safe agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products; and creating a bridge between cooperatives, businesses, and consumers, and between production and consumption.

A large number of consumers in the capital visited and shopped at the market.

Within the framework of the event, the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association, in coordination with Vietnam Coffee & Tea Joint Stock Company and Simexco Dak Lak Company, organized the "Event to promote, connect and enhance the value of Vietnamese specialty coffee"; running concurrently with the market fair was the Week of Consulting, Introducing and Promoting the Consumption of Products: OCOP, traditional craft villages, and safe agricultural and food products of Hanoi City in 2024, organized by the Hanoi New Rural Development Coordination Office.

In addition, to diversify trade promotion methods, open up new markets, increase customer access opportunities, and bring outstanding economic benefits to localities, a highlight of the market fair is the livestreaming of agricultural specialties and OCOP products on TikTok and other social media platforms, organized right at the market fair.

The agricultural produce and regional specialty market; the Chi Lang custard apple promotion week, featuring agricultural specialties of Lang Son province in 2024, will take place from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM from August 15-18 at the Economic and Trade Exhibition and Fairgrounds (489 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Hanoi).
