Serious accident on Hanoi highway

(NLDO) - After falling onto the road with her motorbike, the woman was run over by a tractor-trailer.

On January 20, Thu Duc City Police (HCMC) are investigating the cause of a serious traffic accident.

At more than 5 p.m., a male driver of a tractor-trailer with a license plate from Binh Duong province was driving on Hanoi Highway, from Tram 2 overpass to Do Muoi Street (old National Highway 1). When he reached the turn to Do Muoi Street (in Linh Trung Ward), he collided with a motorbike driven by Ms. TTTT (52 years old, living in Go Vap District) with a license plate from Ho Chi Minh City, traveling in the same direction.

Ms. T. fell on the road, was run over by a tractor-trailer, was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment and died.

Thu Duc City authorities then arrived at the scene to extract camera footage and test the male driver for alcohol and drugs.
