And many other solutions are being focused on by Nong Cong district to promote business development in the locality. Thanks to that, in the first 5 months of 2024, this locality had 40 newly established enterprises, an increase of more than 90% over the same period and reaching 61.5% of the annual plan. Many enterprises have expanded their production scale, creating more jobs for local people.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nam, manager of Van Loi Garment Export Company Limited, Thanh Hoa province, shared: "The departments support the company a lot. Currently, the factory has more than 600 workers, and it is expected that by the end of 2024, the factory will be expanded to attract 100 - 1,500 workers."

Thanh Hoa province has identified 2024 as the year of "acceleration" to achieve the socio -economic development goals and tasks of the entire 2020-2025 term, including the task of developing enterprises. As a result, in the first 5 months of 2024, the whole province had 1,058 newly established enterprises, an increase of 8.5% over the same period, ranking first in the provinces of the North Central region and 8th in the country in terms of enterprise development. However, the results of enterprise development only reached 35.3% of the yearly plan. The majority of new enterprises are small enterprises, with limited ability to enter the market.

Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a document implementing policies to support business development in 2024, including many policy mechanisms to continue reforming administrative procedures, promoting investment, supporting business start-up training and entrepreneurship. In the third quarter of this year, the province will also organize a conference to promote investment attraction at the national level. This will be a favorable condition for Thanh Hoa to accelerate the completion of the goal of establishing 3,000 or more new businesses.
