Ship 267 of Naval Region 2 promptly rescued a fisherman who had a work accident in the waters between Vietnam and Indonesia.
On October 29, Ship 267 was on patrol, inspection, and control missions to protect fishing grounds in the Vietnam-Indonesia border area when it received a distress call from fishing vessel BD30948 TS.
Fishing boat BD30948 TS is captained by Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan (47 years old, from Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province), with 6 crew members.

Immediately, ship 267 quickly verified, approached and deployed a medical team to rescue the fishermen.
Upon approaching the fishermen's boat, the medical team of ship 267 obtained information, examined and determined that patient Nguyen Quang Thao (61 years old) had an injury to his right eye, due to slipping and falling hard onto the ship's floor while working.
The medical team of ship 267 disinfected and anesthetized the wound, performed 10 stitches, bandaged the wound to stop the bleeding, and provided medicine for 5 days.

After treatment, the patient is now conscious and in stable health.
During the mission, ship 267 propagated to fishermen to strictly comply with the law on fishing and measures to ensure safety at sea.
