The final match of the VSC-S5 season was exciting like a final when the two teams continuously chased the score and dragged each other to the penalty shootout at Gia Dinh Stadium (HCMC). Dai Tu was more proactive in the first half, creating a lot of pressure on Thien Khoi FC's goal.
In the second half, Anh Khoi opened the score in the 51st minute but Phan Thai and Minh Quang quickly equalized 1-1 with good coordination, bringing the match into extra time.

Claudecir re-established the lead for Thien Khoi FC in the 75th minute before Hoang Duc equalized 2-2 in the 84th minute. Unable to determine the winner in 70 minutes of regulation and extra time, the two teams entered a penalty shootout.
On penalty kicks, Thien Khoi FC was more courageous to win 5-4, officially becoming the new champion of VSC-S5.

Before that, in the third place match, Viet Thang Steel created a spectacular comeback. Trailing 0-4 after just over a half, the Southern team exploded to tie the match 4-4 and then won 5-4 in the penalty shootout, taking third place overall.
At the closing ceremony of VSC-S5 with the participation of representatives of Vietnam Football Federation, Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation and sponsors, Mr. Pham Ngoc Tuan, General Director of Vietnam Football Joint Stock Company, thanked the teams and audiences and affirmed that the tournament had ended successfully, see you again in the 2026 season.
