Agree on the overall adjustment plan for the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project (phase 1)

The Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project (phase 1), specifically the section passing through Bach Xa commune (Ham Yen district), is being constructed at an accelerated pace by the contractor.

The Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway project (phase 1) involves the complete construction of 77km, with 4 lanes, a design speed of 100km/h, and conforming to the TCVN 5729-2012 expressway standard; the road surface consists of 4 lanes for motor vehicles (4x3.75m), a 0.75m median strip, 2 x 1.0m safety strips, 2 x 3.0m emergency stopping lanes, and 2 x 0.75m shoulders. The investment is divided into two phases.

For the period up to 2025 (Phase 1), the Provincial People's Committee has agreed to invest in the construction of a new section of the route, approximately 7.8 km long, including: land clearance to a completed scale of 25.25m; investment in a 2-lane expressway with a cross-section of Bn=12m; design of 5 elevated bridges with a scale of 12m, 11 underpasses for local residents, and 4.18 km of service roads for local residents. Investment will cover the entire route in Phase 1 (69.7 km); adjustments will be made to some items in Phase 1 to ensure efficient, safe, and economical investment, avoiding waste in Phase 2. The project aims to ensure traffic flow by 2025, in accordance with the Prime Minister 's directive.

Phase 2 (2026-2030) will involve completing the remaining components of the project, ensuring it meets the full 4-lane road standard.

The Provincial People's Committee will finalize the procedures to submit to the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
