Cu Chi District to pay compensation for land for Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway from July 2025

On the afternoon of March 7, the leader of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City announced that the project component 3 - compensation, support, resettlement of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai expressway section of Ho Chi Minh City passing through 11 communes of Cu Chi district. The total number of affected cases is about 1,877 cases.

Regarding progress, the investor is currently coordinating with the locality to deploy boundary marking for site clearance.

It is expected that in March 2025, the City People's Committee will issue a decision approving component project 3. Around July 2025, the Cu Chi District People's Committee will issue a decision approving the overall compensation, support, and resettlement plan for the project and for each affected case.

At the same time, the district will pay and reclaim at least 173.2/182.25 hectares of agricultural land and land managed by state agencies and organizations, accounting for more than 95%.

According to the leader of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City, by the end of August 2025, the site will be ready for the project to start construction. The city plans to start construction of component project 2 - building a residential road and an overpass across the highway (construction packages using state budget capital) on September 2. Meanwhile, component project 1 investing in the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai highway - phase 1 (construction packages using PPP capital) will start construction in January 2026.

Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's resort chain files for listing on HoSE

Vinpearl Joint Stock Company has just submitted documents to list more than 1.79 billion shares on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE).

The resort chain of Vingroup Corporation has registered to list shares equivalent to a charter capital of about VND17,933 billion. SSI Securities is the consulting company for Vinpearl's listing registration.

Previously, the State Securities Commission issued an official dispatch confirming the completion of Vinpearl's public company registration.

In 2024, Vinpearl had impressive business results with net revenue increasing by more than 55% compared to the previous year, to more than 14,000 billion VND; profit of 2,600 billion VND.

Only 2.8% of businesses reach the highest level of digital transformation

The results of a recent survey by Vietnam Report show a positive trend in applying digital transformation, with the majority of businesses aware and starting to take action, focusing mainly on the initial testing and implementation steps in key activities.

Of which, 44.4% of enterprises have entered the stage of actual implementation, integrating technology, and applying digital transformation to core activities.

In addition, 36.1% of businesses are in the initial stage of pilot implementation to find solutions suitable for their business model - an intermediate step before being financially and human resource ready to expand synchronous implementation.

However, Vietnam Report said that only 2.8% of businesses have reached the highest level - completing digital transformation and optimizing.
