On the evening of April 7th, Ho Chi Minh City concluded its 20th annual tourism festival, 2024. With over 150 booths from 45 provinces and cities, and 50 travel agencies, hotels, and airlines, the festival truly served as a bridge between tourists and service providers.
According to the organizers, over the four days of the event, the projected revenue is estimated at over 140 billion VND, a 33.3% increase compared to 2023 (105 billion VND).
At the festival, many promotional packages were announced, along with many attractive additional services to meet the diverse choices of domestic and international tourists; many new and unique tourism services and products attracted the attention of tourists who wanted to learn more.

A highlight of this year's festival is the explosion of tourism promotion programs featuring nearly 400 tourism products and services with a total value of 50 billion VND from travel agencies, accommodation establishments, tourist attractions, and other service businesses…
With numerous promotional policies, discounts of up to 60%, attractive gifts, and accompanying services such as direct price reductions, lucky draws, gifts, quizzes with prizes, etc., the event promises to bring many exciting experiences to visitors and tour operators.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, assessed that the tourism products presented at the festival were not only of an internal nature but also had linkages with various industries, sectors, and regions.
The Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Area booth offers many special promotions during the Hung Kings Commemoration Day and the April 30th holiday.
According to a representative from Viet Travel Company, the event attracted over 10,000 visitors, with approximately 2,000 customers purchasing tours. Asian tours accounted for 60% of the bookings. Estimated total revenue by April 6th was nearly 20 billion VND.
Over the past 20 years, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival has continuously innovated and developed, gradually affirming its position in the hearts of tourists and becoming a leading "tourism supermarket" nationwide, making an important contribution to stimulating the domestic tourism market with high-standard products and services.
