Today, March 24, Thanh Border Guard Station, Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard coordinated with Thanh Secondary School, "Fund for Love" in Ho Chi Minh City, "Fund for Children" and "Connecting Hearts" in Quang Tri to organize the program "Border Lesson" to educate students about sovereignty , experience border patrol and border protection at landmark 607.

The program provided visual education for over 100 students to experience border patrol activities, national border markers, and flag-raising ceremonies at border markers; and at the same time, they answered questions related to national border security and territorial sovereignty, focusing on the Vietnam Border Law, Decree 34/2014/ND-CP of the Government on regulations on land border areas of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam...

Through experiencing activities in the program, students will learn more about territorial sovereignty, national border security, and the system of national border markers in the area.

At the program, the organizers awarded 1 scholarship worth 10 million VND to Ho Thi Trai, a student of class 8B, Thanh Secondary School. They also gave 10 bicycles worth 14 million VND; 30 cash gifts and sports clothes, 50 helmets to students in difficult circumstances.

In addition, the organizers presented 10 gifts including instant noodles, cooking oil, MSG, fish sauce... to households with achievements in protecting border lines and landmarks in A Ho village, Thanh commune. The total value of the gifts in the program was over 50 million VND.
