Immediately after the welcoming ceremony, before entering the private meeting room, General Secretary To Lam and Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, Secretary-General of the People's Action Party of Singapore Lawrence Wong, introduced the members of the delegations from both countries.
According to the program, the two leaders, leading high-level delegations from both countries, will hold talks; witness the signing ceremony of cooperation documents; address the press; and host an official reception.

This is General Secretary To Lam's first visit to Singapore in his capacity as General Secretary, marking a new step forward in bilateral relations between Vietnam and Singapore; demonstrating the importance placed on promoting relations with Singapore to a new level, in line with Vietnam's foreign policy principles and guidelines.
The visit also contributed to further deepening relations between the two parties, creating a solid political foundation for bilateral relations; and promoting the potential for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of green economy, digital economy, science and technology and innovation, clean energy, financial centers, etc.
Singapore was one of the first ASEAN countries with which Vietnam established diplomatic relations. Over the years, the Vietnam-Singapore relationship has deepened and become more effective in all fields.
