Awarding and honoring specialty coffee models in 2025

On the afternoon of April 27th, in Buon Ma Thuot City, the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Amazing Cup 2025 - Vietnam Specialty Coffee Competition solemnly held the ceremony to announce and award prizes to units whose products met international specialty coffee quality standards.

The organizers presented flowers and thank-you letters to the sponsors.

Attending the event were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van; Miss Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa; along with representatives from relevant units, departments, and sectors, as well as a large number of farmers, cooperatives, and domestic coffee production and trading businesses.

The organizing committee honored the units that have participated in the Specialty Coffee Competition for the past 5 years.

The Vietnam Specialty Coffee Competition 2025 received 149 coffee samples from 70 entities (organizations and individuals) across 9 provinces and cities: Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum , Quang Tri, Son La, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi. The total volume of samples submitted was 245 tons (including 173 tons of Robusta and 72 tons of Arabica). After several rigorous evaluation rounds, the competition identified 139 samples that met the specialty coffee standards (92 Robusta samples and 47 Arabica samples), equivalent to a rate of 93.3%, the highest in the history of the Vietnam Specialty Coffee Competition.

The organizers awarded prizes to the top 3 Robusta coffee product manufacturers.

The organizers awarded prizes to the top 4 establishments with the highest-scoring Arabica coffee.

The organizers selected 43 out of 139 coffee samples with the highest scores (including 24 Robusta and 19 Arabica samples) to compete for the Top 10 Robusta and Arabica finals. After the final evaluation round, the organizers selected the Top 3 highest-scoring Robusta specialty coffee samples and the Top 4 highest-scoring Arabica coffee samples to award prizes.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van delivered a speech at the program.

Specifically: for Robusta coffee, first prize was awarded to An Coffee Farm, with 86.46 points (Lam Dong province); second prize to Tinh Farm, with 86.33 points ( Dak Lak province); and third prize to Sucafina Vietnam Co., Ltd., with 85.49 points (Lam Dong province). For Arabica coffee, first prize was awarded to two units with equal scores of 84.79 points, including: Pun Coffee Co., Ltd. (with its in-fruit fermentation method) and 8Ro Production, Trading and Service Company. Third prize was awarded to two units: Quoc Loc – Da Lat Natural Company Limited, with 84.67 points (Lam Dong province) and Le Duc Binh Farm, with 84.67 points (Quang Tri province). In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the most popular prize to the Robusta coffee sample from Bui Coffee Supply (Lam Dong province) and the Arabica sample to BANA'A Coffee Production Facility (Kon Tum province).

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van emphasized: This is the 7th consecutive year the competition has been organized with the goal of finding, evaluating, and promoting coffee samples of outstanding quality, meeting international standards for specialty coffee.

Honoring the units whose coffee samples won top prizes in the Vietnam Specialty Coffee Competition 2025.

The competition has become the focal point of a series of activities promoting the domestic specialty coffee industry, from research and training to promotion and trade facilitation both domestically and internationally. The competition is also a significant milestone demonstrating that Vietnamese coffee is aligning with global trends, gradually ensuring both quantity and quality, and meeting the stringent consumer demands of the world market.

The organizers are showcasing samples of specialty coffee for 2025.

The People's Committee of Dak Lak province expects the Vietnam Specialty Coffee Association to continue to be a pioneer in connecting communities and contributing to the successful implementation of the Vietnam Specialty Coffee Development Project for the period 2021-2030.
