On the morning of April 25th, Comrade Pham Toan Thang, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, along with a delegation from the province and Van Ban district, visited and presented gifts to elderly people who had participated in the civilian labor force during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and are currently living in Van Ban district.



The delegation visited and presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to the following individuals: Ms. Le Thi Thuan, born in 1934, residing in Chieng 4 village, Vo Lao commune; Ms. Pham Thi Ngo, born in 1934, residing in Chieng 5 village, Vo Lao commune; Mr. Nguyen Van Sieng, born in 1929, residing in Chieng 5 village, Vo Lao commune; Ms. Pham Thi Ung, born in 1934, residing in Chieng 1 village, Vo Lao commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngay, born in 1934, residing in Chieng 3 village, Vo Lao commune; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Po, born in 1936, residing in Chieng 7 village, Vo Lao commune. These individuals were all former civilian laborers serving on the front lines during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.



During the visits, Comrade Pham Toan Thang, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, expressed gratitude for the immense contributions of the civilian laborers who dedicated their youth to the glorious Dien Bien Phu Victory, which shook the world. On behalf of the provincial delegation, he also shared his feelings of pride and appreciation for the brave sons and daughters of Lao Cai who contributed to the Dien Bien Phu battlefield; wishing the former civilian laborers good health and hoping they will continue to be a source of inspiration and guidance for future generations, helping them to uphold the tradition and contribute to the development of their homeland.
