At the program, the youth union members carried out many typical tasks such as: Taking care of and planting nearly 5,000 new trees and 20 flower routes; repairing 31 km of roads; dredging nearly 10 km of canals; collecting 10 tons of garbage; instructing people on how to handle organic waste, ensuring environmental sanitation; supporting the construction of hygienic toilets; clean water projects for poor households...





On this occasion, many new models such as the Youth Team using biological products were also effectively implemented, contributing to spreading green lifestyle in the community.
In particular, towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Youth Union members have simultaneously mobilized to renovate, clean, and sanitize the grounds of Martyrs' Cemeteries, Memorials, and Memorial Steles in localities, contributing to preserving the space solemn, clean, and beautiful.




Thereby, expressing the deep gratitude of today's youth towards the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation, continuing to follow and promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the Vietnamese people.
Through the Green Sunday program and the Peak Day of joining hands to build new rural areas, the pioneering and voluntary role of Lao Cai youth in protecting the environment, building green - clean - beautiful landscapes has been demonstrated, contributing to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
