Vietnam ready to join international efforts to resolve Russia-Ukraine conflict

Vietnam supports mediation efforts to seek lasting peaceful solutions to conflicts, with the participation of all concerned parties, in accordance with international law and the United Nations Charter.

On the afternoon of February 13, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , in response to a reporter's question about the comment that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Davos, Switzerland last month, proposed that Vietnam provide a location and make efforts to best organize activities to find peaceful solutions to conflicts, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang stated:

Vietnam supports the mediation efforts of the international community to seek lasting peaceful solutions to conflicts, with the participation of all relevant parties, in accordance with international law and the United Nations Charter.

Vietnam is also ready to join the efforts of the international community, promote dialogue, and seek peaceful solutions to soon end the conflict./.
