Việt NamViệt Nam02/02/2024

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024 (Year of the Dragon), a delegation from the Command of Naval Region 2, along with more than 100 journalists from central and local media agencies, visited and extended New Year greetings to the officers and soldiers at the DK1 offshore platform.

Despite harsh weather conditions and rough seas, the delegation traveled thousands of nautical miles, carrying the heartfelt support of the military and civilians on the mainland to the officers and soldiers stationed at the forefront of the waves and winds.

With the spirit of "All for our beloved comrades," officers, soldiers, and crew members overcame difficulties and mobilized various means to deliver Tet gifts from the Ministry of National Defense , the Navy, the Command of Naval Region 2, and the people of the whole country to the DK1 offshore platforms.

The gifts, greetings, and New Year wishes from the delegation have further motivated the naval soldiers to stand firm, day and night guarding the seas and steadfastly protecting the sovereignty of the southern continental shelf of the Fatherland.
