Attending and directing the congress was Comrade Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and President of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union.
The Congress set forth nine goals and three breakthroughs for the 2025-2030 term, focusing on mobilizing public consensus in compensation and resettlement; promoting the application of digital technology in management and administration; and improving the effectiveness of the Fatherland Front's working committees, strengthening their role as a bridge between the people and the government.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Chau commune aims to build a digitalized commune, develop sustainable livelihoods associated with community tourism and high-tech agriculture .
In her directive speech, Comrade Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune to strengthen supervision and critical feedback on strategic areas such as land management, environmental protection, ecotourism development, and high-tech agriculture. At the same time, she urged support for people to develop livelihoods, connect resources for vocational training, provide preferential loans, and replicate effective economic models.
The congress also elected 51 members to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Chau commune for the new term. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet was re-elected as Chairman.
