According to information from the authorities, at around 9:30 p.m. on August 6, during a thunderstorm in Cao Duong commune, a large rock from a quarry rolled into the kitchen of a local household.

According to local residents, heavy rain caused a block of rock from the quarry of BMC Hoa Binh Co., Ltd. to roll down and hit the house of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep, born in 1979 in Hamlet 2, Anh Thinh Village, Cao Duong Commune. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but a corner of the kitchen, about 10 square ^meters in area, collapsed; the damage was estimated at 20 million VND.

The location of the stone quarry of BMC Hoa Binh Company Limited is about 100m from the residential area.

Currently, Cao Duong Commune Police have established a working group to go to the scene to resolve the incident.
