Determining the Futsal National Cup Final Pairs

Facing Sahako, a team known for its discipline and high determination, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City started confidently, leveraging the strength of their national team players to gain an advantage. In the 9th minute, Lucas broke through on the right wing, beat the opposing defender, and crossed the ball for Tien Hung to easily tap it in, opening the scoring.

After the goal, Coach Nguyen Tuan Anh's team found themselves in a difficult position after committing five fouls, forcing them to play cautiously to avoid a penalty. Despite this, they still managed to increase their lead in the 17th minute when Doan Phat assisted Thinh Phat, who finished with a precise one-touch shot.

In the second half, Sahako adjusted their playing style, quickly deploying a power-play to create more pressure, but they soon committed their sixth cumulative foul. From the penalty spot, Minh Trí's free kick hit the crossbar, missing a scoring opportunity.

In the 34th minute, Cong Vien intercepted a cross and shot straight into the empty net, extending the lead to 3 goals.

Four minutes later, Moreira scored with a long-range shot to reduce the deficit to 1-3 for Sahako, but just seconds later, Cong Vien completed his brace. This goal sealed a 4-1 victory for Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City and secured their place in the final.

Thai Son Bac secured the second spot in the National Futsal Cup final.

In the other semi-final, Hanoi put up a tough fight against Thai Son Bac, but Mota (18th minute) and Minh Quang (25th minute) gave the Northern team a 2-0 lead. Hanoi unexpectedly equalized 2-2 in just 13 seconds in the 34th minute, but Da Hai and Mota scored consecutively, securing a 4-2 victory for Thai Son Bac.

Prior to these two semi-final matches, today also saw the 7th and 5th place playoffs. The results showed Tan Hiep Hung Ho Chi Minh City winning the 7th place playoff (defeating Ho Chi Minh City Youth 6-0), while Saigon Titans secured 5th place by defeating Luxury Ha Long 7-1.

On August 12th, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Son Bac will face off in the final, considered the most anticipated futsal match in Vietnam at the moment.
