DNO - On the morning of August 29th, the final round of the Da Nang City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition - SURF 2024 took place at the University of Technology (Da Nang University), with the participation of 10 projects/startups. This activity was part of the Da Nang City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival - SURF 2024.

In her opening remarks at the competition, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Le Thi Thuc stated that the Da Nang City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2024 is an event within the series of typical activities of the Da Nang City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival - SURF 2024.
The competition is not only a place to select and develop talents, but also a place to honor and create a breakthrough platform for innovative startup projects in Da Nang city.
This year, the organizing committee selected 10 high-quality projects in trending fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, virtual reality technology, and automation. Many participating projects are from high school, college, and university students in Da Nang, demonstrating the strong spread of the entrepreneurial spirit to all elements within the ecosystem.
The leaders of the Department of Science and Technology are committed to continuing to support, accompany, and create the most favorable conditions for all startup projects in Da Nang city; aiming to build Da Nang into a center for entrepreneurship and innovation with innovative startup projects as its core.

After the preliminary round, 10 out of 30 outstanding projects and startups advanced to the final round to participate in a training program conducted by the Da Nang Business Incubator (DNES), including: CWAssistant - AI assistant for in-depth tasks; BINKS - Plant-based squid; MetaDAP - Meta Digital Asset Platform; ElevaBot - Robot for cleaning staircases in public places; TripIn - Application for tourism and dissemination of cultural and historical information, using AI & AR…
In the final round, the projects will be presented to the judging panel. The competition results will be announced and awards presented at the opening session of SURF 2024 on the morning of August 30th at the University of Technology.
